LG’s 71-inch TV – Largest Available
LG Electronics overcame technological difficulties to
successfully implement full high-definition with 1080p
(scanning line) and 16:9 contrast ratio with the world's
first and largest 71-inch PDP.
The technology was considered impossible with a super-large
PDPTV when the company began to develop it in July last
year. This breakthrough will surely have a great impact
on the flat panel display industry.

ViKuiti Screens
Vikuiti™ Extended Resolution Video Screens (XRVS)
improve rear projection display viewability by enhancing
brightness and contrast, preserving rich colors and
high resolution and extending the viewing angle.
The Vikuiti XRVS screen refracts light
from a projector or optical core through the layer of
optical microspheres. The light then passes efficiently
through the black absorbing layer and diffuses throughout
a wide viewing angle. Meanwhile, ambient light from
the viewing side of the screen is absorbed by the black
absorbing layer, reducing screen glare. Vikuiti XRVS
screens can be cut and sized to different shapes and
sizes.
